My plan is to study English in Cebu for 6 months. After this, I will go to Australia for 2 years for working holiday. I’m hoping that I can improve my English skills in order to be ready for my plan abroad.

I have been studying in Cebu International Academy for 4 months. My teachers are good at teaching. They are really patient to me even though my English was not so good at the beginning. I was a beginner of English language, so it’s very difficult for me to study in the first month here in the Philippines. However, I think my speaking and listening skills are improving more and more even though I still have some difficulties when it comes to vocabulary, grammar and writing. I am very thankful to the teachers who have taught me.

 

My course in the first 3 months was ESL. I learned a lot of knowledges such as expression and idiom that I can apply in my daily life. Now I am studying TOEIC and I have learned a lot of things that help me improve more. I am still having a hard time to have a good score in TOEIC test, but I will try my best to reach my target score.

Aside from the English skills I have learned in the school, I have learned different cultures from my foreigner friends. They are kind to me, and we always spend good time during the weekends. I truly enjoy the time together with them.

Cebu City is a good place to stay and study, and I hope to come back here in the future if I have an opportunity. Learning English is fun, so let’s study here in CIA, Cebu, Philippines.
